    Here's the problem: what's Onorato got to lose? If he's not going to face a challenge in the GENERAL election (because, in the end, the primary process isn't good enough--look around the city!), then he has no incentive to do the right thing.

    Progressives in western Queens need to start working together NOW to launch an insurgent (that's right!) campaign that will go until election day to get this bigot out of office.

    I agree. At the very least there needs to be a progressive primary challenger to put the fear of God (if you will pardon the term) into this bigot. He is exactly the kind of out of touch dinosaur that needs to be voted out of Albany.
